I’m a little confused because the alpha is only allowing us to have the Cobra mk3 or sidewinder, but I’ve been fully hooked on playing it already. It’s basically adding an entirely second game in, and even with the alpha bugs it’s well worth it

I haven't followed the rules for each phase very closely, but however they're doing their version of Tribble, it's prone to mistakes. They accidentally released some things targeted for Phase 3 last week and had to claw them back. I do recall hearing that you start with a ship and 300K in the bank, but you can certainly make money, so I'm guessing he bought it.
