Welcome everyone to the Tenth Annual Pride Weekend. As is customary, I’m going to start us out with a few words.
Ten years is a pretty big accomplishment. We wouldn’t have ever gotten here if it wasn’t for the tireless effort of some many people. Some of them have been here, helping maintain and build our fleet for years. I’d like to take this time to praise some of the people currently working to make SGN a better place. Feel free to show your appreciation as well.
@Voleron first joined the Admiralty in 2013 taking over the Department of Fleet Resources from Admiral Tuvak. Before this, he served as a Fleet Captain in the department. As Chief, he spearhead re-arranging our banks and implementing the standard we still use for upgrading our holdings. He hosted the extremely popular Trek Trivia events that takes him hours to prepare and host. Now, he servers as our PR Officer where he expertly manages our social media, creates wonderful graphics and works hard to promote all of our events and guilds. Dave, thank you so much for all you do.
@GXV3 joined the Admirals in 2015, taking over Fleet Resources from Voleron. As Chief, he wonderfully manages our holdings, organizes the banks and monitors our assets. In his tenure, he launched and maintains the Stonewall Credits Store. On top of his duties, he regularly hosts fantastic events like Reflection Day, raffles, and walking challenges. He manages and promotes Stonewall Watch, our Overwatch guild. Gareth, think you for all the creativity you bring to the leadership.
@Robin has been serving as a Fleet Captain since 2015. He’s always been an active and engaged Fleet Captain, serving with distinction. On top of his duties in Fleet Resources, he has single handedly donated over 6 billion EC worth of prizes to Stonewall Fleet. Robin, thank you so much for your never-ending generosity.
@Tlara has been a Fleet Captain since 2017. She’s always active, engaging and willing to help out another fleetmate. On top of her duties in Fleet Resources, she hosts the yearly Yourovision event with betting games, fashion contest and dance. As well, she’s selfless funded week long boosts for the fleet. Thank you so much for your energy, Tlara.
@calx, or Cal as he’s more commonly known, is a more recent addition; being promoted just a couple months ago. But he’s been working hard for Stonewall Fleet long before he had a position. Years ago, he was promoted to Editor-in-Chief of the Stonewall Times after volunteering as a writer for many issues. Single handedly he curated articles from authors, organized them and created the layout. He put our Issue 36 earlier this year. Thank you so much for your perseverance, Cal.
@Chipz416 is another new addition, joining in March. While Chipz is still getting his toes wet and learning the ropes, he’s already showing the signs of becoming one of Stonewall Fleet’s great Admirals. He goes above and beyond in encouraging and supporting all of the leadership. He’s the definition of a Morale Admiral. Thank you Chipz for your enthusiasm.
@SaintPlazma was first promoted to Fleet Captain in 2011 where he joined the defunct Personnel department. Later rejoined in the leadership in 2014 joining Klingon Affairs and later transferring to Morale where he serves today. SaintPlazma has always been an involved and active Fleet Captain; helping out wherever he can. On top of his duties, he hosts special events like the Romulan Farmer’s Festival. Thank you for your commitment, Eddie!
@Caijamin first joined the leadership in 2015 as a Fleet Captain and later that year was promoted to Admiral where he served until 2016. After a hiatus from the game, Cai rejoined the leadership in 2018 as a Fleet Captain. Cai an example of the fantastic lineage of Morale Admirals that Stonewall Fleet has had. Always friendly and kind, Cai was a fantastic Admiral and still serves the community well. Thank you so much Cai!
@Balduranne also joined the leadership in March, serving as a Fleet Captain in the Morale Department. While still new and getting used to leadership, we’re glad to have her among our ranks! She’s already helping out with Morale events and has generously donated a custom pixel art drawing as part of this year’s raffle! Anna, thank you so much for your support!
@Zander_Hawk has been serving as Chief of Fleet Resources since 2016. He first held the same position in 2012 where he served for a year. Zander has worked hard to standardize the way we handle our members and actively works to develop future leaders. He posts regular updates to the fleet on the status of his department to go above and beyond informing the community about memberships. Thank you so much for your hard work, Zander!
@Bren has served as a Fleet Captain since 2013. During his tenure, he’s spent time in Combat Operations, Fleet Resources, and Membership Management. It’s safe to say he’s well versed in the fleet’s operating procedures! Thank you so much for the support, Bren!
@Dax_aussie_boy was promoted to Fleet Captain in 2017 for the Membership Management Department where he’s served and supported the membership since. While the rest of us sleep, our aussie down under watches over us. Thank you so much, Dax!
@JimJMcL1a joined the Membership Management Department in 2017 where he still serves as a Fleet Captain. He’s always active and happy to help out a fleetmate. On top of his regular duties, he’s taken on the job of re-launching Stonewall Fleet roleplaying group. Thank you so much, Jim!
@DrTheopolis was promoted to Fleet Captain in 2017, joining the Membership Management Department. When he’s not trotting the globe, he’s always around to have fun and hang out. He goes out of his way to welcome each new recruit that signs up to our community. Thank you so much for your welcoming spirit, Brian!
@Trick first joined the leadership in 2017 as a Fleet Captain for Combat Ops. Three months ago, he was promoted to Admiral of the Department. Trick is always happy to help members with their builds and his builds are legendary. He’s expertise is only dwarfed by maybe that of his Fleet Captains. He has what it takes to become another great Admiral! Thank you so much, Trick!
@Gravity first became a Fleet Captain in 2013. In 2015, he was promoted to Admiral where he served for a year before stepping down to Fleet Captain. Ben is one of our premier character builders. As part of the Shipwrites, he’s helped countless members of the fleet improve their builds. He goes out of his way to answer people’s questions on Discord and the forums. Plus, he can drink like a camel! Thank you so much for your expertise, Ben!
@Lars_Zandor was promoted to Fleet Captain in 2017 and promoted to Admiral in 2018. He’s served with distinction for his entire tenure. So far as an Admiral, he’s taken on the project of creating a new armada for the KDF fleet, planning a new House Uniform and hosts weekly KDF events. Thank you, warrior! Qapla’!
@Kierix became a Fleet Captain in 2018 for the Klingon Affairs Department. But even before that he was always an active and beloved member of the community. Since becoming a Fleet Captain, he’s been a staple of the community, always showing up and helping out. Especially with the KDF events that he helps run and host. Thank you so much Kierix!
Finally, I’d like to thank
@Halish, my partner in crime for his support and friendship. He has been with Stonewall Fleet from the early days. Before he was promoted to Admiral, he created the Stonewall Fleet logo that we still use today, as well as logos for our other guilds. Halish has served as Admiral of Membership Management in Stonewall Fleet and as an Officer in Stonewall Alliance and Stonewall Vanguard.
This isn’t an exhaustive list. There are lots of people out there that have helped build Stonewall Fleet to what it is today. I’m sure each and every one of you have helped in your own way. To all of you, my sincerest thanks!! And with that, I declare the Tenth Annual Pride Weekend begun!
