My lie was the Musical Theater program... I tried out for it but didn't make the the cut for the second round of auditions for the program.

I do sing but am actually terrified about singing in front of other people! My husband rarely even hears me sing....

The Stonewall Times needs you!

March 17 2012
The Stonewall Times needs you!

After a short hiatus, the Stonewall Times is returning, and we need a strong team of writers and creative people to help make it an essential monthly read for Stonewall Fleet (STO), the House of Nagh reD (STO), and Knights/Lords/Soldiers of Stonewall (TOR).

Rather than rely on contributors each month, we'd like to appoint a number of staff writers with responsibility for producing regular content. Each staff writer will have control over a section of the monthly magazine, and will be able to bring their own creative ideas to it.

Please see the list of open positions in the following post.

If you'd like to apply for a position, please send an email to times@stonewallfleet.com or times@knightsofstonewall.com, or send me a message via the websites. Please include a short summary of the skills and experience that you think will make you a good fit for the position.

You may apply for as many of the positions as you like.

What will you get out of it? We can't pay you... but writing for the Times is a good way to support the guilds and your fellow members, and for anybody interested in a career in writing it will enable you to build up a valuable portfolio of experience and published work.

The deadline for applications is the end of Saturday March 31, 2012.

I look forward to working with you!

What I am pretty sure are lies:

Woobies, I know you have a cat named Neville so I am assuming your not deaf.

Eurrsk - Although it sounds like an awesome middle name I am doubting thats true.

Nick - For me the pinkies are the lie.

Varel - I don't think you have any problem performing in public.

Dtronski - I'm pretty sure you have talked about your kittens in game, so the lie is that your a detective, alough a close second was the not being married.

For me:

1. I am engaged to another member of this guild.

2. I am a cancer survivor.

3. I have a baby that was conceived the one and only time I had sex with a woman.

Re: Getting to Know Each Other

Lies:

Woobies -- You're not deaf. There is a piano behind you in your profile pic, so you're probably a musician. There are very few deaf musicians existed in history (Beethoven being the only one I know of and he's not deaf until later in his career.)

Eurrsk -- You don't have Aspergers. Just a wild guess on my part here, it's not very common that autistics play MMO.

MicholasJohn16 -- You don't have knuckle problem with your pinkies. This is simply based on deductive rationalization. You helped found Stonewall Fleet so #3 could be interpret as such...and your profile clearly said you're in KY and missing Chicago.

Varel -- I don't think that you was in the Musical Theater program at Ithaca College...not exactly sure where that is and what the program is like but, you put too much details on that line of info; most of the time, people don't add details into the truth but do for a lie as a misleading tactic.

Ok...now I've got to come up with 3 things about me:

1. I have two cute little kittens that love to sit on my keyboard when I try to play game. Those darn rascals!

2. I work as a detective in a police department.

3. I've been in a relationship for 17 years but am not married.

Hey everyone,

I'm needing to make some updates to the site and our underlying infrastructure. As well, some of our hosting charges are coming soon and I'd really appreciate a little help.

If you've donated before, thank you and don't worry about helping out now. If you've been thinking about donating, now's the time.

Click the donate link over on the bottom right and send as much as you feel is appropriate.

Thanks.

I bought the lifer subscription for this game shortly after it was released. The F2P system didn't affect me at all. Of course you had people complaining that the F2P players were going to just buy all the skills that players before had to earn in the game. I didn't really care to be honest with you.

I actually created a F2P account just to see what it is like. You can get everything for free since you earn points to use in the store by accomplishing in-game objectives.
