There are several different servers in the game. Ours is called "Harbinger" and that''s where our guild exists. If you're playing on another server you won't be able to join our guild unless you create a new character on the harbinger server. Your login screen should tell you what server you'r character's on.

Have to admit though that when I did play it the time gates did keep screaming at me that it was all set up for B2P from the start.

In my country there are so called integration schools where healthy kids and kids with light disabilities learn together. This is quite nice since those who are disabled can go to a normal school and learn normal stuff, and healthy kids get to be around wheelchairs and learn how to help those in need.
Now I imagine a school just for the disabled. And I don't mean those who are really mentally impaired but just on a wheelchair. We would be making a kind of ghetto and saying "Look, those kids oin wheels are different, they have to have a separate school".
The same is happening with this LGBT school. It shouldn't be a school just for gay people - it should be an LGBTQ FRIENDLY school but for everyone. This woulkd teach love and acceptation!

I am just reviewing the Code of Conduct sections and i have noticed that

there are names of places that i haven't seen before or don't exist since transferring from Ventrilo to TeamSpeak "Quarks Bar, Quantum Cafe, Federation Fleet and Klingon Fleet".

If the Code of Conduct is a guide of sorts for the fleet to follow, then rephrasing sentences that have the intended effect as some people would view think that the Code of Conduct are a laughing matter.

I know this is nit picking of all things but it would be helpful to make things clear as well as straight forward for member to understand without confusion.

I like the WIP code of conduct it gives a straight forward approach of the intended behavior of members in the fleet whilst matching with the emojis as Ereiid has mentioned.

I wouldn't mind seeing a third bit as a general rule of thumb of all members in its own category referring to a more common sense and etiquette of behaviour when respecting those of different nationality, sexuality, gender, intelligence and so on. Maybe following the "K.I.S.S" method would be a good idea. (Keep it simple silly)

But in all i like the ways its going. Great work Halish.

Some may see this as sanctuary, but be that as it may it will only do more to further segregate and distort the views of LGBT people.

Sure, it's extremely hard to look past being bullied and hated. A lot of kids put up with that shit because they are different in some way, so let's look at the big picture.

Look at it this way: In the US, we've seen more and more states adopt marriage equality in the past 6 years, while the courts meanwhile continue to strike down state laws that outright ban it. Meanwhile, the US Supreme Court will be taking up the matter once again this year because of those cases. Meanwhile in the UK, the issue has been settled and marriage equality is a reality.

Will these milestones instantly end hatred and bullying? Of course not. But my point is that views are evolving out there. With time, all of this will further end the worthless debates once and for all and help pave the way to a better future.

We have to be brave, and we have to teach our kids and the younger among our community to stand their ground. Because it IS getting better.

Courage is everything. Let's not step back now.

The reason for the segregation was to try and reassure members that it's not one way traffic.

When a member breaks the rules someone in a leadership position will immediately point to the code of conduct to show them their mistake.

The leadership has to be held accountable as well and I wanted members to have some reference point that they can point to if they feel the leadership isn't living up to their responsibility.

I think it goes without saying that the leadership isn't exempt from the "member" part of the code of conduct.

It certainly isn't meant to segregate in a way that "elite-ifies" the leadership. I may have to rethink the layout.

Detailing the processes for disputes and guides on etiquette are covered in other parts of the welcome centre and more specifically the members handbook (a revamp of which is also on my to do list).

I could try and put some links and maybe some "hint" style boxes to explain things at a glance. Something to think about.
