I get my fill of Trek at the convention in Vegas and that's likely about it for me. My husband and I own travel by cruise ship when travelling internationally, but I'm not sure if I could convince him of a Star Trek cruise hahaha

i still think thats locked. you can move windows around though :P and if you have a gamepad you can set the keys on that. unfortunately i still can't figure out how to map keyboard keys.

My only problem is targeting in battle. After something dies you kinda stay locked onto it, and targeting nearest sometimes selects yourself even if somethings right next to you. i wish i could turn that off... ugh. i've died alot because things get outta camera range and attack me, and i've got no way to target them quickly :-\

It is actually coming out for the PlayStation 3 in March 2011 not the PS2.

I have no problem with the controls or the UI. In fact, I think the UI is amazing in this game compared to FFXI. It is also customizable if you take the time and effort to do so. Quests are actually very easy and enjoyable to do. Unlike STO where the quests seem so repeatative and uneventful. The combat does take some getting use to. It is slow compared to other games, but faster then it was in FFXI.

I KNOW! I can't help it, i.........like it -_- Im trying to convince myself otherwise so I don't become addicted to early.

sounds like you actually like the game lol, I wouldnt make any judegments yet as its still in beta lol

Been playing a bit on a different server with some co-workers.

I can say I don't think I'll be buying this one. LOVE the idea of a practically fully customizable class and skill set, and crafting actually feels a bit more hands-on and fulfilling, but the armor and weapon dmg accumulation is a bit discouraging, and I REALLY don't need to be obsessed with another Final Fantasy MMO. I'll be playing till the end of Open Beta, but I don't plan on picking this one up until at least 6 months down the road.

Hehe, ya i might have to agree. tried to give it a chance but... meh. its just clunky. even after playing with a controller, battles are still tough to target what you want... meh guess its back to occupying myself with DAO :P

It's funny, I've been accepted for 3 days now, I think, but I haven't been able to get the game started once. Latest issue is it saying it can't connect to check the version.

I'm feeling really disenchanted with this game, so far.

What i have been reading though, is that in FFXIV you only really need ONE character do do anything, and ONE retainer to sell... So i get it, but some of us just like to create characters...

If City of Heroes had done this, i would have been paying more for my online game then my monthy internet bill, lmao!!!

I'm not too worried about it. 12.99 base is still cheaper then other MMOs, and i could stick with one character if it meant spending money. About time they developed a cure for Alt-Itis! =D
