Re: What missions would you like to see?

I think the game focuses too much on the exterior of the ships (as opposed to the original concept by perpetual). I'd want to make missions that happen inside the ship. :3 (Especially the classic, some say overused, "Stuck in the holodeck" episodes)

I'd love to see some "Stonewall Fleet" missions where we can act out the story lines that have been developed in our fleet roleplay and holodeck sections.

I agree with Seannewboy. Some of the old stories plots would be fun. I think more fleet ones would be neat where there is a captain that leads, someone that runs tactical, sci, engineering, helm, and medical. Make ia group PVP even.

I would like to see some of the old stories from tv visited. What happened to the cloud city world, is everything roses and chocalates or are there still problems? Some of the pre space cultures that Kirk met, are they in the federation now or not?

That's a great idea! Even better...a mission where you stay in the Mirror universe after defeating your evil, goateed self, then you go find an evil, goateed gay partner, then adopt some evil, goateed children and raise them in an evil, goateed, family. After they have evil, goateed, grandchildren then you take the entire clan back to our universe and go on the Oprah Universal Network.

Yes, The con would be more fun for ME but the reunion is a 20th anniversary for people that were on the show *I think.* lol

If the next year is anything like this years, the convention is TONS of fun. I have to say, dressing up in cotumes also adds to the experence. It was fun, but I think after I dressed up it became a lot more fun.

Not to mention getting to meet all the great people in the fleet!

I am planning on next years also. My plan is to dress for all 4 days with something different each day!

Re: True blood anyone?

I have the same general feeling as a lot of you. While the episode had some great one liners (watch your f***ing language!) it really didn't do anything to resolve the season. It felt like just another episode to me... which really left me disappointed. I was expecting an end to the season's big bad like is common with the other True Blood seasons. Oh well. Still like the show and I'll still be back in a few months.

I have created a group for people to join to discuss the Vegas trip and exchange information on rates for various things (hotel, gas, flights, etc.)

My bf and I will be going and possibly looking for someone to share room costs.

We'll also be driving from Portland Or and can seat 3 other people in the van for carpooling.

I figure if we plan in advance, more folks will be able to make it happen. So I'm gonna put out the idea right now for us to have a gathering at the Trek Convention in Las Vegas August 11 - 14

Here are the two Dev posts I think are most relevant:

http://forums.startrekonline.com/showpost.php?p=2831374&postcount=16

http://forums.startrekonline.com/showpost.php?p=2374101&postcount=59

On the basis of these two, I'm installing the LCARS, MSD and Sector Space mods now!

But anyone interested needs to make their own, carefully considered opinion. I wouldn't dream of recommending this to anyone, just in case...

Love the LCARS. I would try it but until I see a post from DStahl telling us it's ok to use mods like this I will be keeping away from them.
