No one kills Zep but me.

It's in the rules.

See, it's in the rules right here.

I want to know why I have only a "?" in my country? Maybe it's because most gays have never heard of us and we mostly deny they exist, lol.

i think all capatain abilites apart from "evasive manoovers, ramming speed and brace for impact" with the boff abilties you chose, should be banned that way it bring it to a lvl playing field for runabout pvp

Thank you everyone who participated today :) We hope you had as much fun as we did making it.

Congratulations to the two, winning teams:

1st place: Galan Vaurek and A1088
2nd place: DeRhamme and Krovni

Gerat job!

Here are the answers to the clues above:

1) Defera - There is a Ferengi in the center of the courtyard and it is a pretty, sunny day all the time
2) K7 - There are 7 "k"s in okay. The party was in reference to the bar
3) Dabo Table at DS9 - Leeta says this
4) Memory Alpha - Bling-bling stands for the rare items and the "corp" is for the Crafting Corp
5) Starbase 39 - If you solve the math problem, it equals 39. Starbase is found from the capital letters in the statement after
6) The fountain on Vulcan - The quote is a Vulcan quote and the towel is in reference to the fountain

At the end, if the teams looked at the clues, they noticed red, bolded letters. These spelled out "emotes" and the teams had to figure out that they needed to do the emotes they received from each clue in the correct order based on spelling out "emotes"

A very special thank you to Zep, Jes and Samuel for helping with the running of the event! We couldn't have done it without you :)

Stonewall Fleet Scavenger Hunt 2.0

September 25 2010
The following tags can not be placed within a specific tag: center in size
Welcome to the Stonewall Fleet Scavenger Hunt 2.0!

You have been split up into teams of 3 and are competing for a share in 1,750,000 energy credits! First place will share 1M, second 500K, and third 250K.

As a team, you will race across the STO galaxy trying to find select Stonewall Fleet toons that have been pre-placed in various locations; you will be able to find the toons from the clues below. Don’t even think about cheating because all the toons are on private and you will not be able to see who they are, where they are, or when they log off/ on.

Once all of your team mates make it to the location which you think is correct and beam down, you will PM Zep with the answer. If you are correct, one of the above toons will appear and do an emote. Take careful note of the e-mote used, for once you have all 6 emotes, you will need to meet Zep’s main character back on ESD and do all the e-motes in a particular order. You will use the clues below and all the locations you visited to determine the correct order in which the emotes must be done for Zep. The first team to make it all back to ESD and do this in the correct order will win first place, followed by second and third.

Also, teams are able to buy additional clues for 100K each (the 3 Officers/FCs will decide on what the additional clue will be and that same one will be used for any team that buys that clue). The 100K will be deducted from your winnings and donated to the fleet bank.

NOTE: All toons will be in instance #1 of everywhere you go (or the lowest number instance available), so make sure you are all in the right one.

The Clues:

1) Let’s take a stroll here and people watch with the Ferengi. It's a beautiful day outside.

2) Okkkkkkk. Let’s get this party started.

3) Keep your eye on the prize, not the girl.

4) Need some new bling-bling? Come see the corp here.

5) Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally: [8*23-7^2+(15-3)] + [(13+2^3)-129] it’S really noT thAt haRd BecAuSE math is fun.

6) Logic offers serenity humans seldom experience: The control of feelings so that they do not control you." Control your feelings here and bring a towel.

Good luck and HAVE FUN!

Re: Dont Ask Dont Tell ruled unconstitutional

September 24 2010
I love how that statement from Gibbs can be boiled down to this:

"Indeed, it clearly shows why Congress must act to end this misguided policy, because we can't be bothered or deal with the responsibility to do it ourselves."

Obama has not one, but two, was to end DADT. As chief of the executive branch of the government he can order the Department of Justice to not appeal. As commander-in-chief of the military, he can order them to cease enforcement. This is so infuriating, I cannot see how at this point I will not be abstaining from voting for a president come 2012.

Re: Dont Ask Dont Tell ruled unconstitutional

September 24 2010
Today, the Department of Justice made a filing in a legal challenge to the Don’t Ask, Don’t tell (DADT) policy, as it traditionally does when acts of Congress are challenged. This filing in no way diminishes the President’s firm commitment to achieve a legislative repeal of DADT – indeed, it clearly shows why Congress must act to end this misguided policy. The President was disappointed earlier this week when a majority of the Senate was willing to proceed with National Defense Authorization Act, but political posturing created a 60 vote threshold. The President spoke out against DADT in his first State of the Union Address, and the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs have both testified in support of repeal. And the Department of Defense continues to work on a plan on how to implement repeal. The President, along with his Administration, will continue to work with the Senate Leadership to achieve a legislative repeal of DADT as outlined in the NDAA this fall.
