For the first time in nearly twenty years I am *not* cooking an over twenty-pound bird for all of the various orphans and misfits who lack family at my place. I already miss it and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet.

I also have to serve rich rednecks tomorrow at the country club...homophobic rednecks. Happy Turkey Day, eh?

Love ya'll,

This was really entertaining and I'm sad it's over. I loved how you tied in the Vega Colony. I'm sure we'd all agree that we would love to see more work from you in the future,no pressure though ;) You're a very talented writer.

Speaking of turkey...

One of these days I'll find a way to acquire an ostrich drumstick and roast that instead of a turkey. :3

For us to gather together with our dysfunctional family, eat too much turkey, and remember why we only see our family once a year. As such, I'll be going back up to Chicago for this wonderful Thanksgiving day to spend some quality time with my family. I'll be leaving in the next couple hours and be back sometime Monday, the 29th. While I'm gone, I'll have intermittent access to Internet, of any speed, so I probably won't be on the site much or responding to e-mails quickly. And worst of all, I won't be joining in on the Foundry Beta testing (:().

All of you have a safe and happy holiday and I'll catch you on the other side of this god-forsaken week of hell.

PS: Non-Americans and those weird freaks up North that celebrate Thanksgiving in October, need not apply.

PSS: Well, you can be safe and happy, just not the holiday part.

Sorry, I think I'm missing something here. What exactly is sad about either of these weather patterns? Aren't they both typical for their respective areas this time of year?

Yes, where I am at is usually cold, but not THAT cold. Not 14o for a HIGH. This isn't Palin's Alaska, thx.
