I couldnt disagree more. First point is you had to pay in the past, Moria and Mirkwood were expansions that cost around £20 each. Also the subscription fee was £8.99 a month. If you didnt pay then you couldnt log in.

Now if you pay nothing you can log in and play the starting areas Shire, Bree, Ered Luin, Lone Lands. You can then buy different area's quest packs as you come to them.

Its naive to think you can play an MMO with all the bells and whistles and not pay a penny. End of the day they are businesses that need to make money so they can expand while attracting new customers.

i am unhappy with the new f2p system. first the stuff was free like in moria, now i have to pay for it. i had character slots. in first for free. so i make all classes on the server, now i had to pay, or leave 2 character slots behind. coz the 2 slots are locked.

after all. i think they damaged the game badly. they chosen the wrong path, in the way the choose what is free and what not. so every arae has quest but u must pay for them. in moria ,too. not good so farewell frodo and bilbo

I don't have a social life. xD Also, after my amnesia, I barely remember many of the people on my contact list.

Lots of my mates use it to run their social lives (ie. parties, events etc) so I tend to keep an eye on it :)

I was sooo looking forward to this game, but the more I see of the gameplay, the more "meh" I get about it...

I'll probably still buy it and try it out, cos hey, it's Star Wars, but I think it's a massive shame that they went with the typical reskinned-WoW playstyle... it just doesn't make any sense for Star Wars... leaving aside the class trinity, how many times do you need to poke someone with a lightsaber before you kill them in the films? How many rockets to the face? Could Han Solo really take 1.21 Gigawatts up his backside and carry on shooting his little blaster pistol as if nothing happened?

The cinematics look very cool, but the gameplay... I dunno... sorry, don't mean to be a killjoy!! :(

All the funky buttons for the thumb seem to be right in the way when you use your left hand. My bf has one similar to the pictured one in the first post and he's programmed the buttons for various things.

If i use the mouse, everything starts going off because I'm accidentally clicking all the time!

Those are pretty awesome. I want the t-shirts the devs wear to events with those symbols on them.

I can't part with my Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard. The headset does look very nice though.

I feel the same way. Well.. Mostly... If I could justify spending all of the money for one of those separated keyboards where I could move the halves as far apart as I'd like, I'd get one of those. I am constantly placing my right hand at least 1 - 2 keys over too far and, before realising it, slapping a bunch of gibberish onto the screen. I'm also overly fond of my Microsoft Trackball Optical 1.0. I really love moving the cursor with my thumb and having the five buttons across the front. (Obviously, with a trackball that old, I'm not a FPSer. :3)

They do look pretty nice, but I just got a new Logitech G700 and I can't part with my Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard. The headset does look very nice though.
