I'll be playing at least 2 toons on each side. Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent on one side and Trooper and Jedi Knight on the other.

Congratulations and well deserved! I am looking forward to see Stonewall venture into SWTOR :)

Congratulations Officers!!

September 13 2011
I'd like to congratulate the new Officers for Knights of Stonewall!

Although, we had a number of great applications, I had to select a handful to help lead Knights and Lords of Stonewall from now, till launch and far into the future.

Time for some introductions!

[confidential]Aldente, from Washington, DC, is new to the Stonewall Community, but has played World of Warcraft for four years. During which, he served in many different positions within his guild. He'll be assisting with Forum Moderation for now and once the game launches help manage our banks and assisting in our crafting pursuits.[/confidential]

Halish, one of our proud British members, will be helping manage and mainting the website. He's been a long time member of Stonewall Fleet, including serving as a Fleet Captain. Along with STO, he's also lead his own guild, the Stonewall Order, in Rift.

[confidential]Solari one of our raid-friendly long time members of Stonewall Fleet. He'll helping with our Galatic Republic interests, including managing the rosters, helping host events and assisting members with their character builds. Solari is from Ireland.[/confidential]

Zepari will be helping with our Sith Empire pursuits. He's been a long time member of Stonewall Fleet, including a year and a half as an Admiral in Stonewall Fleet. Zep, our guild leprechaun, hails from Northern Ireland.

[confidential]Van has played many MMOs, including Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Warhammer, Aion and Rift. He'll be tacking up or more social prosuits, helping members get aquanted in the guild and hosting social events. Now living in Washington, DC, Van is a New York native.[/confidential]

Please join me in giving them all congratulations!

Called it the minute I saw the Jedi twirling his light saber.. "Indiana Jones" slipped out of my mouth as the Smuggler drew his gun.

Commando (probably balanced healer/damage as much as possible) is definitely going to be my first go.. Gunslinger is a pretty darn close second (all damage).

Then I may consider a Sith vs. a Bounty Hunter to see the Imperial story. Only then I may consider one of the Jedi, but right now I'm much more excited about the non-Force users right now.

To funny I was thinking the same thing when I saw the light sabers start to twirl.

Smuggler is my first choice but the trooper (healer/dps version) is also running a close 1st for me.

Bounty Hunter for sure and after a bit possible a force type toon at some point. I do like the counselor but after seeing him toss pebbles at the enemy I was like...mah.

We're two weeks behind on Doctor Who... so no spoilers. ;-) We didn't watch the preview since we watched the last two episodes practically back to back so I missed that spoiler.

I truly enjoyed it. Maybe my "mediocrity" bar is set too low. ;-)

Yeah, it was OK. At least we got an explanation for The Miracle. Starz kind of spoiled it by showing, in the teaser,

I agree with a post on another site that said it was a shame that Torchwood's kind-of-weak finale happened on the same week as one of the best episodes of Doctor Who this year. (Who knew Karen Gillan could act?!)

WARNING: SPOILER!

.....................................................................................................................................................................okay then, yeah great episode! I though the scene with Lafayette and Jesus in the bedroom was touching...Jason and Jessica are perfect together. Sookie choosing neither men (Eric, Bill or Alcide) was really the only way she could go. Granted, I think in "reality" we would have picked one of them...ahem, Alcide.

And just when I start to like Tara again....BAM! And there are enough one-liners in this episode to fill a whole season. But, its over...until next year.

Is it just me, or are they packing a little bit of humor into each video they release?

Oh for sure! I think they are trying to target all grps of gamers from raiders, hard core pvp'rs, causual players (me) and those that want a rich story line.

Edit: just watched the smuggler video again...okays so it's like the 10th time. :) The whole thing is so Indiana Jones! Picture the guy with the light saber...replace it with knives. Also the chase scene were the smuggler is running after one guy and the door opens and it's a whole bunch of guys. LOL Love it!

Hello Knights and Lords of Stonewall,

By now I hope you've had an opportunity to view the latest issue of the Stonewall Times where we have started our Old Republic coverage.

Over the next couple of months we will be covering the remaining 6 classes. I believe the readers (currently over a 1000 on the distribution list) would really love to see the remaining classes written about with as much passion and care as was put into the Trooper and Agent articles in Volume 7.

If you are really looking forward to playing the Smuggler, Jedi Knight, Sith Inquisitor, Sith Warrior, or the Bounty Hunter and have any interest in sharing your passion with your fellow guildmates, we would love to have you write the article introducing these classes.

If you are hesitant due to inexperience, or unsure on how to start putting together an article, I will be happy to help guide you through the process. The technical aspects are the easy part, it's channeling the passion and care you have for these classes that is the hard part.

The articles that still need writers, and their due dates are below:

Sith Inquisitor - September 24th
Smuggler - October 24th
Bounty Hunter - October 24th
Jedi Knight - November 24th
Sith Warrior - November 24th

Please contact me via private message if you want more information or wish to express interest.

no jedi consulars? *sniff*
i feel slighted :P

Consular isn't listed because someone is already writing the article. Can only wonder now why I thought the Knight would be more popular...

Re: The Torchwood thread

Just watched the last episode this weekend.

I think the most exciting words came before the episode even aired... "SEASON Finale."

Really enjoyed the series. It had a slow start, but really picked up steam about half way through. Definitely felt "Torchwood" to me during the last few episodes when things finally became preternatural.

The final scene left me a little disappointed if for no other reason than I absolutely love Jack's character. The last 10-20 seconds of the show almost feels like Jack's character has been cheapened a bit.

All in all, I'm really excited at the implication for a new season and an overarching plot like the original Torchwood's Rift.
