Same here and yes it seems that folks that are not really interested in the game are getting invites. Several of my buds from Stonewall Champions got invites and they just registered on the forums to check out the vids, forums and a few things about the game.

I almost cried when I read both of the emails I got this morning. I thought I had accidently deleted my beta invite. BioWare is so evil!!!

:P That's was a mistake. That was suppose to be sent out to all testers; instead it was sent to all potential testers.

Test shard sign up page redirects me to the site's front page, which is helpful.

Also of note, for the first few weeks, the Tribble shard will not allow you to copy your character, so you'll need to start a new one from scratch to test.

Stephen D'Angelo has started a dev blog about testing for F2P. It appears Tribble is back as of today for F2P testing. Unfortunately, I can't check it out until tonight when I get home from work. :S
