That's better than I thought it would be so soon before launch. Nick, is this just the people who use the www.knightsofstonewall.com web address? If so then it's even better as we still have a lot of KoS members who also belong to SWF that still use the www.stonewallfleet.com address.

I assume that these statistics are only about new people surfing to the guilds website. The forum is on stonewallfleet.com, so statistics for active members are in this thread http://stonewallfleet.com/forum/briefing-room/21004-web-analytics-for-stonewall-fleets-website?limit=6&start=6

That's a very good point. Now that we have the Empire guilds up and running on the SW:TOR website for both the US and EU servers, we might see more people moving to the in-game guild that best suits them. So don't worry if we see that 117 drop slightly. Also, we are trying very hard to get the Republic EU guild created, but are still having problems with the system accepting the guild name "Knights of Stonewall" even though we already have a US one and were able to create two "Lords of Stonewall" guilds (US and EU).

Please bare with us on that, and in the meantime if anyone thinks the other Stonewall guilds would better suit them, feel free to move there on the SW:TOR site. However, since we can have characters on multiple servers and on both sides, we can all belong to more than one Stonewall guild after launch. Just a pity we can only join one before launch.

Wasn't PE in the middle of alpha testing when they went under? Then when Cryptic got the rights to the game they scrapped it because they didn't want to pay for use of the engine?

Re: Same gender romances in SWTOR for postlaunch

It would be nice for them add it, I'll admit I was surprised that they weren't including it in release considering their other games.

As to Troopers not having a romance, there was always at least two of us in every unit I was in ;)

Thanks Eurrsk!

Funny enough, that first ship did end up making it into STO. :P Whenever you go into a DSE map there's a floating disabled ship just above the spawn point, that's it.

I use 2 ~20" monitors at work, and it works out pretty well. I have a large HP al in one at home, and I can't imagine using a second or especially a third monitor

I imagine having 3 50+ inch monitors all the time. :3

That's just too much for me (a propos of the current topic subject line ;) ). I'd have to sit so far back from the monitors.

I sit 8-10 feet away from the screen right now. :3

Apparently, the Simpsons has been renewed for two more seasons. The hold up was salary negotiations of the voice actors. $500k per episode wasn't enough to say, "D'oh!"

Pfft, I think I could live off of half that. I'd have accepted the pay cut.

As nice as those screen shots are, it's always really easy in hindsight to be able to say this is what could have been with pre-production screen shots. There's no way to really know for sure if the game was going to actually look like that. The best we can do at this point is take things we like from those shots and suggest them to cryptic and hope they use them. It just sounds like buyers remorse to talk about how much better things could have been.

Concept artist from Perpetual Entertainment, Ryan Dening, who was orginally working for Star Trek Online, now works as the senior concept artist for The Old Republic. His concept art gallery is amazing...

The UI still looks very much WIP but that hallway is pretty damn sexy.

I think the idea was to have a very minimal UI.

The phrase "like throwing a hot dog down a hallway" comes to mind.

That is a VERY odd comparison and brings so many wrong images and bad memories to mind. >.
