Re: Getting Ready
Happy Birthday Zeddikas:)
Thanks Buddy!
You choose one name at character creation. You can choose whether to make that sound like a first name or a last name or something ambiguous. There are a large number of titles and some folks argue that some of them sound better if your chosen name is a first name and others sound better if your chosen name is a last name. For instance, if you named your trooper Brad, one of your early titles would make you appear as Sergeant Brad which some might say sounds like a stripper. If you opted to call your trooper Patton, you'd be Sergeant Patton.
The other consideration is that once one of your characters completes Chapter One of your class story, you earn legacy status and can choose a legacy name. The legacy name is used for all your characters. For each character, you can choose to display the legacy name as a last name, as a title following your name, or not display it at all. To continue with the example, you could name your character Brad and choose Patton as your legacy name which would mean that you could run around as:
- Brad Patton
- Sergeant Brad Patton
- Sergeant Brad, the Patton Legacy
If your character was a Bounty Hunter, you could even be Brad Patton, Hired Gun.
Does that help?

I posted some a little while back. Didn't involve anything from the Star Wars prime universe, since I kind of feel that it's a bit sacrilegious to do so; just a character of mine from SWG.
Synthweaving (with Archeology and Underworld Trading) is able to create armor for force users (including your Inquisitor), and there are schematics for fully moddable (orange) gear. Armormech (with Scavenging and Underworld Trading) does the same for tech users like your Agent and Trooper. The mods themselves can also be obtained by the same sorts of sources or through crew skills: Armstech (barrels), Artifice (hilts, enhancements, color crystals), Cybertech (armoring, mods), Slicing (aguments).
One other consideration is that you wouldn't necessarily have to pick up Underworld Trading on both your Agent and Inquisitor. One could run the missions to supply mats to both.
As long as you're using the "Reply", "Quote", or "Reply Topic" features, you should see an "Enlarge" feature to the left of the message box.
Yep, got SWTOR on the brain here too. It sure is a strange malady. Been watching youtube vids of Hutball and Alderan PvP zones to get a fix before Tues.

I thought I'd reach out to the folks who are planning to make crafting an important part of their SW:TOR experience. A few questions for you guys:
- What questions do you have about crafting in SW:TOR?
- What crew skills most interest you?
- Do you consider yourself a "hardcore" crafter or more of a dabbler?
- Are you interested in offering your crafted items or gathered materials to other guild members?
- What resources would you like to see on our web site to support crafters?
Hey folks. I signed up early in the year but haven't been back since then. Been beta testing and loving the game. I preordered and Im looking forward to December. Now I'm at the point where Im deciding what to do guild wise and such as many of my WOW friends are being very stubborn about joining the game. I'm looking to make some new friends here. In addition, maybe a couple that want to level up one or two toons with me. Since Im in Los Angeles and work M-F from around 9-6 and have the gym or tennis right after that, Im looking for someone who wants to game around 9:00PM Pacific Time and sometimes on either day of the weekend. Id prefer someone to game with that is mature and not looking to power level. Someone who is not high strung either and isn't afraid to sometimes try the PVP scenarious or PVP Lakes even though we will be on a PVE Server. Most of the time, I prefer PVE but I need my PVP fix too :-). If any of you are interested, let me know. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :-).
I'm in Long Beach Ca so it would be cool to team up with you and everyone that
has replied to this post.
I just wanted to Add that i am a florida boy that plays late my time, usually starting 9pm PST till usually 1 or 2 am PST. would love a fellow eaterner/florida leveling partner. i am PVE'r that when i am hjigher level i may try some pvp. I am going to be a consular/seer healing.
Florida West Coast (Tampa) here! I'll be doing Smuggler/Scoundrel/Sawbones as my main and Jedi Knight/Sentinel/Ihavenoearthlyideayet as my secondary. Won't be able to do the 9pm-2am PST thing during the week since my job sked is 7am-4pm EST but if you ever want to meet up EST time-wise for quests on Coruscant and beyond give me a shout. :)
now that is a deal! i will add ya
Nice to meet you. Im going to be a Jedi Consular with a DPS focus and Ryyven is going to be a Jedi Shadow with a Tank focus. You are always welcome to group with us, as is any guildie. However, Ryyven and I have an understanding that we are looking to level together from the beginning and will only level those toons when we are on line together. When we are not on at the same time, we will play alts..which will also be looking to level with others :-). We are not going to be rushing to level 50, thats what the alts are for lol. Our motto is to enjoy the experience rather than rush to the end. :-)
Thats cool. I plan to roll a jedi knight alt too, so probably will see you guys around. Even though you're both rolling consulars, when doing class quests, alot of the class instances will allow only one consular per group, as with other class quests. So yeah sometimes good if you have another class on hand :)
But I tend to be an obsessive powerleveling demon,
sounds hot!!!
Ohh you have no idea!! :P
If you need to kill a few minutes, I'd recommend watching some of the back story.

Yes, I know what you mean. I almost feel like a 6 year old waiting for Christmas morning.
