I didn't have any lag issues during that stress-test weekend, and I still don't during early access. I'm running a mid-range Radeon card.

The only thing I have noticed is that the game client overall is not as stable as STO has been for me. After a couple hours of playing, there were some hiccups that made me think "memory leak," and when I finally shut down the game, it took a forced close (or is the Force Close?).

I even play it in a windowed mode, because full screen was even more unstable to switch between game and other programs. You usually don't expect windowed to have a great frame rate, but it has been seamless for me.

So long as the one in charge is Sir Lord Darth Baron Von Vaderham. :3

To get the ball rolling: I was there.

Me toos

I got in last night, rolled up some toons, then the server went down, so we ate dinner, then the server came back up and I created some more alts. Basically my brain was screaming "Claim all the names!" last night. So any even halfway clever name I came up with, I grabbed.

Found out they won't allow any name with "leia" in it, which meant I couldn't make a Bounty Hunter called Sleia, or even S'leia or Sleiar. :( But I got some others.

My primary will be a (usually shirtless) blue Twi'lek Consular named Dak. He's looking forward to getting a surname some day. Then there are the twins: Skyrunner (faster than walking) and Dirtcrawler. One is good, the other one, not so much. And my Smuggler, Ham. (Hey, if I'm gonna play Star Wars, I'm gonna play Star Wars.) And I had to reserve a name for my better half, since I only just preordered for him last week.

I suspect my characters may be ancestors of some of the familiar movie characters. But I imagine I am not alone in this delusion. ;)
