Re: Datacron Opinions

Apart from just a few, I didn't start looking for them until 50 on my BH. Now I try to do a few every day, but I also keep it to things I feel I need most. Aim, Endurance, Presence, Cunning. I tend to pass strenght and will power, for now anyway. Some of them are a major pain in the bum to get no matter what level you are, hehe

You may also want to get the Presence ones as well since they improve the effectiveness of your companions.

Somewhat off topic, I know, but I just couldn't pass it up.
It is precisely because we are a minority that we should be weary of just going along with what's the most popular. When Prop. 8 passed in California, would you say that it was a good thing simply because the majority of people who bothered to show up at the polls voted for it? I wouldn't.

I realize this is a far less serious issue that we are talking about here. I'm just bothered whenever somebody suggests that the majority always knows best./rant

you bring out the history geek in me "A democracy is, amongst civil nations, accounted the meanest and worst of all forms of government." John Winthrop he later adds that the 'majority can eat up the minority' OK geekfest 2012 is over for now

I suppose it adds up to one-or-more free mods/enhancements by the time you get them all.

I've been running through a planet on quests, then coming back later and catching up on datacrons. They *seem* like they're worth the effort...but man, the jumping ones I *really* hate.

By doing it this way, I know the planet pretty well, and I'm usually higher level, so I am not 'endangered' by running around picking them up. (especially in the inevitable times when I fall from a jump, sometimes into a mob).

I've been collecting all of them.
They do provide some nice experience and a bit of lore, although I think it's more than I'm a completionist, gotta catch'em all.

Datacron Opinions

Hey All,

I'm curious to see what everyone is doing (or not doing) with Datacrons. Currently, I'm just going after the Cunning datacrons as they provide the most immediate benefit to my character.

Are other people being completionists and collecting them all, or just skipping them all together? I'm curious to see what other people's responses are.

Wish my Trooper looked this good at level 30. I still look like a color-blind overpicked-Goodwill reject. Currently, blue and white chest, orange and white helmet, black gloves, green and white pants, and yellow and white boots. It's so annoying!

Whoo hoo. Best uplifting spirit I could ask for xD Just remember me next time you're cutting through some enemies, i'll just be the guild's offline cheerleader. Or I'll just pull an Obi-wan Kenobi and randomly appear to people as a ghost but can't actually do anything useful. D:

This is my reasoning for why we should have a runoff vote. Right now, we have 16 votes for Stonewall Gaming Community--and 25 votes for not-Stonewall Gaming Community. A runoff would at least give people the chance to pick their second-favourite.

This is a great idea. We were waiting to ensure that the vast majority of the fleet had got their ships so we could go to a cross faction planet. I think most of us at least have one character with a ship, so we should find a safe planet for characters who just got their ships for us to meet up. If anyone doesn't have a ship yet, we can make this a regular event, so everyone gets their pic taken.

That's awful. I feel really bad for you. Not only does the game not run, but it might completely destroy your computer all together if you even check to see if it works. I hope they get this solved soon. Till then, I'll save some Imps/'pubs with your name on 'em to lightsaber when this gets fixed. They might even have the same faces as some of the developers to take out extra frustration for you.
