I'm very pleased to announce that our new Membership Officer is Ltervlet aka Linda!

Linda has already being doing a great job keeping all the ingame guilds up to date and making sure everyone is at the correct rank, and I'd like to thank her for her continued sacrifice in doing such a boring but necessary job for us all!

Congratulations Linda!

Re: prometheus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the crew of the Prometheus was transformed into the creatures we know as the aliens. They were lured there to be infected by a virus that mutated them. Ripley's crew found the crew of the Prometheus....they just didn't recognize them!

thanks for the responses. I guess there isn't much out there.

What about regular sci-fi fantasy? What's your favorite? I need some junk reading. :)

Re: Stonewall Writing Group

Hey there!

It really depends what kind of writing you're talking. We have the Authors of Stonewall Times group which writes articles for our monthly publication, the Stonewall Times, which we're currently recruiting for. Then there's the Stonewall Role Players group which focuses more on realtime RP. If you're looking to get something like that up and running on a regular basis, I'd love to help you anyway I can.

All of my GLBTQ reading that I enjoy is on the nifty archives website... There are some good stories out there if you can wade through all of the crappy purely sexual stories...

Yeah, and I just read Attitude for the articles... :P

Oh hush you! I was serious, I'm very picky when it comes to what I read. :-P

I threw a little your way. My PayPal account is pretty much dormant as I haven't bought a thing on ebay since Christmas.

I'm not a big reader, in fact I've still not managed to finish a real "book" in my adult life, which is a bit shameful. But you should all be reading Khaos Komix because it's GBLT goodness :)

I'm a hopeless romantic who is more interested in the characters and their story than anything else, and not opposed to love scenes so long as they are tastefully written.

I will go on to say also that my favorite Fanatsy series of all time (well right now) is The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. I own the entire series of books and will occasionally read them again. I have some of the Wheel of Time audiobooks, that's a good series it was just getting too pricey to keep up with since I don't have tons of time to listen to them anymore.

Hello Stonewallers! I was wondering if there was any interest in a writer/rp group within Stonewall. I'd be happy to lead the organizational efforts. Let me know in-game @johnniehero or reply on here and let's get this started!

Fave novels? I'd love some recommendations!

March 18 2012
For a word about my tastes:

My favorite fantasy series is probably the Game of Thrones series (fan long before the rather good tv series).

Favorite sci-fi.. probably Dune.

Possibly the only good queer fantasy or sci-fi novel I have read:
Dreamer: A Novel Of the Silent Empire, by Stephen Harper (not the Canadian Prime Minister) which I heartily recommend, though the two sequels that I read disappointed me. By the way, it's available for $0.99 on kindle!

I also like "literature" - the first example that comes to my head is the Life of Pi.. an awesome book by (Canadian) author Yan Martel.

Thanks in advance for your input!
