Rape is a very serious issue and I don't think anybody has the right to dictate to anybody else how they feel about things being compared to it. We should all respect each others view points and do our best not to offend each other.

I'm sure Gabriel meant no offence and he was just trying to make a point about how people treat the fleet banks. He may not have gone about it the right way but you should try and take things how they're meant to be taken.

That been said the use of the word rape isn't exactly something we should throw around as if it has no meaning and I would ask people to pick their words more carefully in the future.

We all want the best for our fleet and each other and to get back on the topic we should treat the fleet banks like we should treat each other, with respect. Take and give just like you would with your presents at Christmas.

Grrr, ok, I am more than slightly pissed. I had to rename 7 of my 8 characaters. I had extra preordered and played from DAY ONE to make sure I get the names I have for YEARS in MMOs.

Havent played my KDF toons for ages, I am starting to get Kar'fi withdrawal symptoms! On topic though the log shows who is taking stuff so maybe just send them a nice message to explain things to them would be in order :)

When we get the starbase going I am sure stuff will come flooding in although i will likely alternate fed one day and kdf the next.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make any of the events on the 30th. :( I'm totally booked that entire week actually. The 1st, however, I MIGHT be able to, but don't know yet. Glad to see it going on though. :)

Just joined recently after playing for around 4ish months. Living in Salt Lake City (No, I'm not mormon.), happily (usually) married and with the same person for 17 years now. Own my own catering and personal chef company, so, as much as I would love to take part in fleet things more, unfortunately scheduling often prevents such things.

I'm usually pretty friendly, if quiet, and try to be helpful. Feel free to give me a shout sometime, any time really. I don't bite until the third date. ;)

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I think I can safely speak for all of the Fleet Captains and Officers, when I say that community cohesion is something that's very important to us.

Although I'm not sure that I've ever spoken with you in-game, your concerns are something that we take seriously and that are important to me, on a personal level.

You mention verbal abuse and bullying as two of the concerns that you have. I encourage you and anyone else experiencing these issues, to share any instances of abuse or bullying with a Fleet Captain, whose job it is to conduct any immediate intervention, and pass along information about the incident to the Fleet Officers, so fair and timely action can be contemplated. The appropriate forum for this, would of course, be through private message either in-game or on the website.

Timely and detailed reporting of these instances is critical in us effectively dealing with the matter. Important details to note, are the day and time of the occurrence as well as the people involved. Screenshots or chat logs are also helpful in giving the incident context.

Unfortunately, there's not always a Fleet Officer or Captain in chat to immediately deal with these issues, which is why I'd ask that you, or anyone else experiencing similar issues, to assist us in dealing with these matters, by reporting them as suggested above.

I am sure they will adjust it just as they did in the beginning for The Jekk'Jekk Tarr. It had server queues in the beginning too but it didn't take long for those to go away. They will need to see how many actually transfer to the new server. It was wonderful to see anywhere from 275-290 characters on the fleets at one time. There were all of 9 on the Republic fleet when I transferred my toons (all except for 1 in each guild) to The Harbinger.

Okay, I moved all my characters and will need to rejoin the guilds. Not too pleased to be back to the server full messages and queues. You would think that they would have solved that problem by now.

Yup - let's migrate. I note that today they listed our server as one to get away from. The new server for us is The Harbinger. It wouldn't make sense not to transfer because this is a one way only opportunity. Nobody will be transferring to JJT and as more and more people make the jump the already sparse population will dwindle. It isn't so much of a question of if, just when and any details or considerations of how.

I moved my toons to the new server and, to test the GTN, put up 5 items for sale. All items were sold within 2 hours, so I take that as a good sign.

Have also joined the KOS channel. Hope to see you all there soon!

I will be transferring all but one of my toons from each guild to the new server and will reform the guilds as soon as I get there. I will need 3 people to log on with me to do this. Please let me know when everyone can log on so I can determine when I need to log on as well. Yeah, it will be so nice to have a functional gtn for once. :woohoo:

Wow, said it would take under an hour and it took 2 minutes to transfer 3 characters. Only lost one name *not too sad about that*

Yeah, as soon as I finished transferring all my characters about 1300 EST, they were playable. I transferred then logged in and they were ready. I briefly brought up each one and no problems noticeable. Hope to see you all on the other side!

When we move let me know cause I'll move over, although I'm tempted to just do it. ;)
