AttendanceWe had amazing attendance at the meeting with over 60 members participating.
EventsOver the years, we've tried to host regular fleet events in-game, from purely social events to PvP, but we constantly struggle with maintaining good fleet involvement in these events. Is there anything we can do to increase fleet participating in these events? You're input would be extremely helpful.
Suggestions:- Sending out an e-mail blast about future events
- Bimonthly or weekly emails
- Poll the membership for the most convenient times
- Create events in-game
- Create a gmail calender
- Creating an events thread on the forums
- Create and use Social Networking pages
- Post events in the MTOD
- Utilize Smoke signals and carrier pigeons

We'll start sending out more emails about up coming events. We've done polls many times and it generally comes back that most people want events on the weekends during the afternoon and evening. We'll try to do another one soon. Up until recently, the Events in the Fleet UI has been broken. With Season 6, it was fixed so we'll begin to use it now. We currently have a
Facebook Page, a
Twitter account and a
Google+ Page. Follow/like/circle those that you like; we'll endeavor to use them more often. I'll check to see if we can outsource some message delivers to the Owls in Harry Potter. ;)
Fleet StarbasesCurrently, we have the permission to purchase from the Fleet Store limited to just Fleet Captains, Admirals and a special empty rank. We're limited on the number of Fleet Ships and Fleet Items that we can have. To be able to purchase items from the Fleet Stores, we first have to run provisioning assignments that give us a limited number of requisitions. To prevent someone from purchasing all the available requisitions in the Fleet Store. The Admirals are interested in how we can fairly distribute the requisitioned items.
Suggestions- Give out Provision to Event attendees
- Limit members to 1 ship per person
- Keep track of what's purchased what, publicly
- Assign Admirals to handing out provisions
- Make items attainable for all members
- Use the empty rank to give members the purchase permission temporarily
- Only Members and above should be allowed to purchase, not Cadets
It should be noted that there is no way to limit donations or purchases; the permissions are all or nothing. Fleet Items are Bind on Pickup; meaning the leadership cannot purchase an item and then deliver it to a member. The whole point of limiting the Purchase from Fleet Stores permission is to make sure everyone gets the chance to purchase something; we'll do our best to make sure that everyone gets a chance to purchase something from Fleet Stores.
It was agreed that we should limit the amounts a Member can purchase and that we should use the Empty rank to temporarily give members the ability to purchase from the Fleet Stores.
In order to purchase an item from the Fleet Store, simple request the promotion from a Fleet Captain or Admiral, let them know what you're wanting to purchase and inform them when they are done. Please be sure that you have all the necessary materials (Dilithium, Fleet Ship Modules, etc.) before requesting the promotion. When you are done, the Fleet Captain will demote you to the previous rank.
I want to take a moment to clarify something. I, personally, don't care how long it takes for us to get our starbase to max level. At the very fastest, its time gated to 7 months and that's with every project completing instantly and starting their countdown. It'll take us longer than that. The reason for Stonewall Fleet to exist is for us to have a safe and fun place to play STO and if we're just running and a break neck pace to the finish line, that's just not fun. So lean back and just enjoy the ride. :) We'll get to Tier 5 across the bored when we get there.
