Sounds good! I'm personally particularly interested in (4) and (5), both the exchange ones, I'm always running out of energy credits, I can make and spend millions in just a few minutes!

I think these are great ideas.

1. Star Trek Trivia Event: I'd love to participate and to help if you need any.

2. Retro Pvp: I'm not so skilled in PvP, but I'm always up to try.

3. Shuttle Pvp: sounds like a lot of fun!

4. Exchange 101: I don't know what you mean exactly, but I would like to assist to thoses courses.

5. Exchange 102: Same as 4.

Overall I think it is all great ideas. As others have pointed out, it would be nice to have several slots so that European folks like me can participate.
I'm also ready to help organize any of those events.

If I may add, I'd like very much a 101 on some STF, particularly the ground ones as I'm kind of a noob to those and very few people accept to help you through them. Maybe some team sessions where we can go slowly to explain it all? But I may be the only one interested...

Thanks for bringing it up, I am considering running some events at two time slots if I can get enough interest. Probably 12 hours apart of each other, but I'd likely need a second in command to run one of the slots if I am unavailable at that time (I am contacting a couple right now regarding that).

And was this a request for a video of the exchange classes? I was thinking of taking the transcripts and editting it into a guide with a FAQ section as well. I dont know how as of yet I will handle posting it though; since I will be providing the bulk of the dialogue used for the guide I will want to retain intellectual property. If I remember the charter correctly, publishing it here could conflict with that, such as the case with many well established fleets such as STO Academy (whom I left due to this sort of thing) which basically means if I try posting my guide elsewhere, people may fight over ownership. I will be looking into it more closely later, so I don't step on any toes. Perhaps I will make a blogspot thingy and stick it there so I can freely distribute it.

I wonder if it would be possible to maybe fraps the training sessions (if they happen), and put them up somewhere, like tutorial vids?

I agree with Halish. Me personaly, i would not join a guild that spams chat channels. Because i have this feeling: if you advertise something to much, there must be something wrong with it. I prefer to be in a guild where people did a little effort to join up.

Spam advertising in-game is not a good thing and to be honest I think it's a dying practice and we should actively avoid taking part in it.

This form of guild recruitment can attract unwanted anti-gblt attacks or prompt the inevitably "Why do you need a GBLT guild, couldn't you just not talk about it in a normal guild?" type of conversation.

People "should" actively research and pick a guild suitable for them and not just wait until they see a random guild spam and go with them because they have a cool name (or whatever else criteria you could get from a 200 character message). This is the entire reason why most MMO's have guild recruitment forums rather than in-game guild search mechanics.

I have yet to see any guild advertising in game and long may it continue. :)

This is a great idea! Especially since accounts are able to join multiple guilds, this'll make it super easy for inter guild communication. The LGBT guilds on whochever server we end up joining should set up something like this!

I'm in for both trivia and shuttle PVP, and holler when you need prize donations. I have more Mirror Universe Ass. Cruisers than one man can feed, and plenty of fleet point bonus pools that I'd be happy to see a fleetie get some use out of.
