It's with great pleasure, that I welcome you to the Stonewall Fleet Forum Signature Shop, being operated by your Fleet Resources Department.

In recent months, the fleet has seen extraordinary growth, and an increase in the usage of the stonewallfleet.com forums. Many members have voiced their desire to customize their forum posts with their own, custom signature, which can be affixed to the footer of their posts.

For those members who don't have the necessary time, software or skills to create such a signature, we're happy to now be able to offer you your own, custom signature graphic!

Disclaimer
The Forum Signature Shop is currently run by a single volunteer. As such, please understand that while we'll try our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, you may need to allow several days for your order to be filled.

Please also understand that the shop operator is not a professional graphics artist and that the skills used to create the forum signature are self taught. You can expect your forum signature to resemble the examples depicted in the second post of this thread, in terms of quality. Please also allow for some artist discretion in terms of text styles and coloring. Be aware that backgrounds can be color-shifted with ease, to best suit your character, his or her vessel and faction.

Cost
Signatures are offered in two tiers of detail: simple and complex. The goal of providing two tiers of detail, is to be able to provide a quality product for those members on a budget, while also providing a more detailed option for those who would like a more custom look to their signature and are willing to pay a higher price.

Simple option - price: 250,000 energy credits
  • Available for both Size 1 and Size 2 signature options
  • Features your own character image
  • Uses a single, background image
  • Uses a ready-made ship graphic of similar design to your own
Complex option - price: 1,000,000 energy credits
  • Available only for the Size 1 signature option
  • Features complex backgrounds, shadows and fonts
  • Features your own character image
  • Features your own ship image
  • Features your ship or character in an action shot (scanning, shooting, launching fighters etc - artist's discretion)

The cost for a simple forum signature is 250,000 in-game, Energy Credits, while the price for a complex signature is 1,000,000 in-game Energy Credits. You will make your energy credit payment, by way of a deposit to the Stonewall Fleet Bank, AFTER you've received and are satisfied with your forum signature.

The revenue from the forum signature shop, assists us in keeping the Fleet Banks stocked, and allows us to purchase prizes for events hosted by your Fleet Resources Department, such as the Halloween Event, the Trek Trivia Events, the Scavenger Hunt Event and many more. Your purchase directly supports your fleet. None of the profits from this store are personally pocketed by any member of the leadership team.

Halish you know I'm level 80, lol have been for way to long. The most money I've had on the game was like 14g? That was because I sold everything I had  But thank you both for the ideas, I have a whole day off tomorrow, unless I have an overtime day at work. Hopefully I can spend the day and make some $$ in the game. I hope you guys have a great day, looking forward to talking to you guys soon :)

Honestly, everyone I speak to says the same thing. We're all waiting for ArenaNet to add some real level-cap content and the fractals just don't do it.

WvW has some major improvements in the works (if you listen to ArenaNet) and to be honest I already enjoy it but problems with the culling make it really difficult to enjoy when you have no idea if that person running towards you is alone or in an army of 200.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

It really depends on the amount of money you're trying to make.

At level 80 (which I don't think you are?) I can simply run around a level 80 zone, smashing mobs in the face, looting their lifeless corpses and sell their goods and make a few quick gold. Gathering crafting materials and selling them on the TP makes some good money too.

Member Participation and Numbers

Guys... I need your support. What can we do to get more participation in the guild! There are too many members not representing and not enough guildies chatting it up and grouping together. I've attempted to get activities going when I can and they usually go well, but it doesn't seem to have lasting interest for anyone. I'm getting private messages about this and I'm at a loss for the most part... I can't force guild members to participate. Does anyone have any input?

Perhaps we need to specialize in a certain aspect of the game or get team-leaders going for WvW/PvE/Dungeons/Fractals.

Run fractals! Honestly... You get a few rares that you can sell or salvage for ectos, crafting mats and charged cores drop here and there which are usually worth around 3g each. Loot gets better the higher lvl fractal you're at. It's pretty good lower lvls, but it gets even better after lvl 15-ish.

I'm no good at playing the TP... I have tons of failed attempts that sunk my funds. I wish crafting were more lucrative, but that's another difficult money maker to master. Farm those fractals.. invest in magic gear... There was also a farming run for Arah that I've done a while back. They fight one boss in particular and exit and repeat. Good karma/gold, but it bored me to tears when I did this.

Weren't able to attend the second Trek Trivia Event? Think that you're the knowledge keeper of all things Trek? Think that you'd have given Calandra a run for her Zen?

Find out how you'd have fared in the Trek Trivia event! Enjoy this complimentary sampling of ten of the fifty questions that were posed during the event. Compare your answer with the answers in the bottom of the post!

  1. What is the name of Quark's mother, as portrayed in Deep Space Nine?
  2. What is the significance of the Vulcan ritual of Kolinahrr?
  3. Name two of the four youths, rescued from the Borg by the crew of USS Voyager?
  4. Who was the legendary Vulcan philosopher, scientist, and logician, considered the greatest of all who ever lived on Vulcan?
  5. When Commander Riker meets Data for the first time on the Enterprise holodeck, what tune is Data whistling?
  6. Why does Guinan urge Captain Picard to join the away mission to Devidia?
  7. In the movie: Generations, what is cracked against the hull of the USS Enterprise-B, at the Starship's christening?
  8. Unscramble this crew member's first and last name: LAINJU SABRIH
  9. Finish the following Star Trek quote: "Time-line? This is no time to talk about time. We don't have the time! ____ ___ _ ______?"
  10. List the following Star Trek characters (Jadzia Dax, Weyoun, Captain Kirk, Michael Eddington and Jennifer Sisko) in order, from first to last, based on the year in which they died

Click the 'spoiler' heading below to view the answers!

Remember, it's not just about knowing the answer without resorting to Google, it's also about having the fastest fingers! If you did well, make sure that you join us for the next run of the event, to be announced in the near future!

If your knowledge of Trek is somewhat lacking, be sure to brush up on your skills and be ready to dominate the next event!

Thanks again to all who participated!

On January 12th, 2013, the Fleet Resources department hosted Stonewall Fleet's THIRD Trek Trivia event, on the Stonewall Fleet Starbase!

At 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST, twenty-two members of Stonewall Fleet filled the meeting area of the Stonewall Fleet starbase, and participated in a 50 question, Star Trek trivia event! The first participant to correctly answer each question was awarded a point, until all fifty questions were presented!

All of the questions asked, related to any of the Star Trek movies and television series. In addition to normal trivia questions, three exciting categories of questions were posed:

SCRAMBLER: Unscramble the character name, location or phrase first!
FINISH THE LINE: Accurately complete a well-known Star Trek quote first!
CHRONOLOGICAL: Place listed items in their correct order, frst!

We'll be adding more exciting and fun categories at our next Trek Trivia event! (Date and time to be announced). Watch the fleet website and in-game event listings for future dates!

LF Some Money Helping Tips In GW2

January 13 2013
Hello my lovely Ladies, Gents and Polar bears.
Today I am looking for some help towards the game. There are a few money making ideas that I've tried and a lot of them have failed me. I use to play WoW all the time and have never had issues with making gold, before I quit the game I had over 200k. For some odd reason this game just has me stumped. I am a farmer when it comes to playing MMO's so anything you guys can think of that requires farming or anything let me know. Hope you guys have a great day and i look forward to hearing your replies.

Thats why I'm voting for #2... It's much easier for people to fly from all over the country/world directly to the city of departure. Instead of to a city over an hour away by shuttle.

Music?

January 12 2013
Hello, all.

I recently began to put together themed podcast-style playlists for posting online regularly. I've personally dubbed it the "Cascade Series." To date, I have two 30 minute sets of assorted rock, acoustic, and some electronic peppered in. While you won't hear a whole lot of pop, i may occasionally feature some more popular artists from time to time.

Link:
http://tinyurl.com/b9vbh6m

Currently featured at the above link is the 2nd set themed/titled as: "State of the New Year" as more/less a personal exploration of the worst and best of humanity (in that order) through an eclectic spectrum of rock and down-tempo rhythms; Said differently, a Winter-geared set telling of the world's dark shenanigans of power, deceit, lust, rage, and recklessness before moving on to the more brighter realms of childhood wonder, love, hope, and perseverance.

As I mentioned to my facebook audience: May this year bring better days through the dreams of the latter vice the nightmares of the former.

----
"Cascade 1" is in its own folder at the same link, laid out in the same fashion with it's list as a jpeg. No real title at it just served as a "debut" playlist, but its theme was simply geared towards the Closing out of 2012 as a year-end reflection, reminders to me of the important things in life that hold true after an otherwise challenging year.

Again, probably not everyone's preferred musical repitoire' but, simply put, as a passionate music lover I thought I would share it here for those interested in tunes that provoke strong thoughts and emotions. Or just to groove to. B)

I'll share new sets here as I mix/post more.

Enjoy!

It takes about an hour to get from MCO to Port Canaveral so if I'm ferrying I would like to make my departure from MCO no later than 1330.

But as far as capacity, I can fit 4 people comfortably and 5 if you squeeze in a bit.

I know there's a few fleeties that live in the FL area that might also make the ferry so you guys don't have to take the god awfull shuttle
