This is amazing. When the Starbases were first added to the game, it felt like it would be forever till we hit Tier 5. Now here we are. Great work everyone!!

Captain: Jean-Luc Picard for his diplomatic skills (even though Janeway is my favourite captain)
First officer: Chakotay for his ability to speak his mind well and willingness to stand up to the captain when need be
Chief tactical officer: Tuvok for his logic

I guess it's not so hard to see which is my favourite series...

I would, of course, have the Enterprise D as my ship. It is just bee-you-tee-ful. For the crew, I will keep it simple:

Captain: Picard. He just had so many good things to contribute!

For the remainder of the crew, I'd have clones of Picard ranging in rank from Commander to Ensign. Commander Picards like their earl grey tea hot, Lieutenant Commander warm, and Lieutenant cold. Lieutenant Junior grades have tried Rogaine to get some hair back, while Ensigns have still remember the horrors of the clay sculpture from Captain Picard Day in The Pegasus.

Yeoman Picards, who spend their time in Ten Forward, clean the tables with toothbrushes while Chief Petty Officer Picards are responsible for the molecular decomposition of lockboxes still leftover from STO...yes, they have half lives of hundreds of years!

Ambassador Picard would fly around to random planets in the Captain's Yacht, and Judge Advocate General Picard takes perverse pleasure in issuing rulings exactly opposite of his previous ruling each time. He has also secretly been stalking Nella Darren so that he can fondle her 'piano'.

They all like bacon.

So I broke down and got the game, but I can't decide what race to make...argh choices

wow even after making a char for Gilgamesh and being able to play on it, I got stuck on a long queue just to try and get in again...


If anyone needs me I'll be playing on Brynhindr in the meantime. I wonder what they'll do to solve this limit issue...

Project Runway blast-from-the-past:

I was at Target today and went through the Halloween section when I saw this bunch of enormous foam wigs. Turns out they were designed by Chris March of Season 4 (the only other season I've seen in full) exclusively for Target. So it's cool when you see these folks move on to other cool things.

I love Taint, great group of folks :)
