Nick, you really need to stop watching/listening to the Right-wing propaganda machine. They're led by Fox News with Rush Limbaugh as their mascot. Of course red states are going to be full of sheeples that blame Obama for... being black, not being a U.S. citizen, terrorist attacks, the weak economy, _____ (fill in the blank). The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act/Affordable Care Act/Obamacare was passed into law in 2010 (THREE years ago) and only parts of it will begin to take effective in January 2014. Yet it is to blame for the United States government being shut down now.

The outcome is that the Republicans are only hurting themselves. Elections (especially for the president spot) are decided by the "undecided" or moderates. Even though politically 2016 is a long way off, I'd be surprised if some Pub-heads didn't roll come this time next year.

I know a lot of you don't pay much attention to politics, but is anyone else incredibly annoyed with the amount of people that blame Obama for the shutdown and keep repeating Republican talking points about the Affordable Care Act like their truth?

It's probably cause I live deep inside a red state, but its really getting annoying.

Shouldn't the size be larger than a full astronomical unit? After all, 1 AU is only 149,597,870.7 km. Too small for a Dyson sphere unless it surrounds a dwarf star.

If it is a G type main sequence star, like our own, it should be about 2 AU in diameter.

And if it is a Dyson sphere, even one as small as 1 AU in diameter, I sincerely hope the represent this massive size by making us orbit what should, effectively, look like a solid wall that extends in all 4 directions for as far as the unaided eye can see. Not the basketballs we're used to orbiting in STO.

Probably one of the biggest things I noticed in this was the mention to massive amounts of boronite. (Which has gotten swallowed in the forums to nothing ness)

Boronite is the ore used by the Borg to synthesize OMEGA Molecules!

I dont think that it is such a large leap to get to the possibility of the introduction of the Omega Molecule into the STO universe.

i need to re-watch TNG's "Relics" episode to refresh my mind and grasp the enormity of what a Dyson's sphere is.

I just did a quick Google and you may have already investigated this:

It doesn't seem to support Windows 7 or 8 and runs inside Windows. I will ask around at work as well. There have to be OS emulators out there B)

Linux on Windows

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get Linux to run on Windows? I need Linux for some stuff, but I only have a Windows computer right now. I don't wanna do a dual boot that makes me reboot all the time whenever I wanna do something on the other OS. Maybe some kind of VMware? Any assistance would be appreciated!

Yeah, I'm on my 30 day trial and it's cute but you are right, FF is about a moving story, with a lot of cut scenes and characters in your party.

Lvl 50 conjuror on Phoenix (EU) cause it's exotic. Or because release was a clusterF and I couldn't get on Gilgamesh. The end game feels pretty flat, the economy is boinked, PvP isn't integrated yet, and I've gotten bored with just running 2 dungeons for tomes. I started my relic quest and up to hard mode titan, I don't know I'm just not in love with it, not yet at least. I think I liked FF more when it wasn't MMO #shrug
