A son?

Also, sad to read that they've moved Manu Intiraymi over from playing Icheb to some other character.

Migration from Ventrilo to Teamspeak 3

November 24 2013
When Stonewall Fleet first launched, we purchased the default guild VOIP solution of the time, Ventrilo. Since then things have changed and Ventrilo is no longer the default. It hasn't been updated in some time and there seems to be no plans to do so. For that reason and many more, members of the community have brought up us changing solutions and the leadership agrees.

To that end, we've decided to migrate from our current Ventrilo server to a new Teamspeak 3 server. Teamspeak 3 is far more advanced that Ventrilo, easier to use and set up. Hopefully, it'll rectify many of the issues we've had with Ventrilo over the years.

Our current server is set to expire by the end of the month and we've already setup the new server and are updating our documentation. We hope our transition will be quick and smooth. Stay tuned for additional details.

I'd like to take a moment to personally thank Bradley1701 for his continued support. Bradley initially setup our Ventrilo server and has been generous enough to fund it over the last five years. Thank you so much Bradley!

Introducing: House Champion

November 24 2013
For a long time, we've been working to liven up the House of Nagh reD. Seven months ago, we hosted the Feast of Blood and Blade to show what being a Klingon was like and show some real warrior spirit! It was a tremendous success and we had a great turn out. Shortly there after, Legacy of Romulus launched and we pushed members to align with the KDF and we had an unprecedented number of new characters join the House. Since then, activity in the House has been steadily growing.

We've been looking for more ways to make the House feel more Klingon and not just another Fed sister fleet and one of the great ideas brought to me was that of the House Champion. The House Champion is a position of honor and prestige and in true Klingon spirit will be decided in a fight to the death!

Starting in December, the Department of Klingon Affairs will start hosting monthly PvP tournaments, both space and ground. The winner of each will be receive the rank of House Champion in-game and a special ribbon on our website. They'll hold this position for the entire month where they can either earn it again at the next tournament or be dethroned by a more worthy combatant!

This person will have a position of authority within the House and can champion causes within the fleet. An added perk of being House Champion is that they will have access to the Fleet Stores, even when a gatekeeper is required. With time, we'll be adding new features and rewards to this position so it will make our House feel more unique and the winner feel more accomplished.

Stay tuned for the details for the first tournament.

sweet! but one thing i am wondering: How is Pavel Chekov still around in the 2380's? Has medical tech advanced that much? or maybe he traveled through time?

Regardless, still excited to see how this goes! Big project.

For whatever reason, I didn't get it.

Try this:

That's how I first got to it. I can get it now. Maybe it was time-zone thing, or a browser-refreshing thing. But I've got it. I played the game a little bit yesterday, but no way can I sink the kind of time into it I would want to.

Star Trek: Renegades

November 23 2013

Quote by Star Trek: Renegades Site
It is ten years after Voyager’s return from the Delta Quadrant, and the Federation is in a crisis. The Federation’s main suppliers of dilithium crystals are disappearing. Space and time have folded around several planets, effectively isolating them from any contact with outside worlds. And this phenomenon is not natural – someone or something is causing this to happen. This necessitates drastic measures; some of which are outside the Federation’s normal jurisdiction. For this, Admiral Pavel Chekov, head of Starfleet Intelligence, turns to Commander Tuvok, Voyager’s former security officer and current head of the newly reorganized Section 31. Tuvok must put together a new covert, renegade crew – mostly outcasts and rogues – even criminals. This new crew is tasked with finding out what is causing the folding of time and space, and stopping it – at all costs. But will they be able to put aside their differences and stop trying to kill one another in time to accomplish their mission?

It has been more than seven long years since “Enterprise” left the air, and though we’ve had the recent big screen adaptation of Gene Roddenberry’s futuristic vision (and the sequel coming this year), we feel the true home of Star Trek is as a continuing episodic series. The goal of this project is to make that happen.

Saw the "An adventure in space and time" tonight. Perhaps it is because Hartnell was already my favourite Doctor, but it made me so sad. I absolutely adored David Bradley as William Hartnell and would so absolutely love to see him utilised in future Doctor Who projects, perhaps making appearances with future Doctors.

I hope they find and restore more of the Hartnell episodes, most of the ones I have are "restorations".
