Then I realize it comes in the Delta Pack, so yeah I'll fly it eventually. :laugh:


And technically, thanks to an Enterprise ep, the Dauntless Class is already a canon Starfleet ship design since we did glimpse several of them in some future space battle. B)

Plus I'd rather fly a science vessel that looked like this rather than that T6 Intelligence one that's an affront to the human eyesight. :P

I figured they were going to do something like this, they did this with the LoR Legacy pack as well if I recall. Sweetening the pot. I was going to get the pack anyway but this is added incentive. I always liked the Dauntless, especially its bridge.

Oh, great. Another fugly-ass ship that's likely to have stats that will at least make me consider it.

Dauntless Experimental Class Science Vessel

The original Dauntless class science vessel was discovered by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager in the Delta Quadrant in 2374. Completely alien in origin, the ship and its Qauntum Slipstream Drive were created as a trap for the crew. Recently, however, specifications for the ship were discovered in the Delta Quadrant, and the Starfleet Corps of Engineers has been able to recreate this impressive starship as a Tier 6 vessel.
The Dauntless comes equipped with a Particle Synthesis universal console. This console allows the ship to take on the appearance of a nearby foe while nearby enemy ships are given the appearance of the Dauntless.

I had thought about trying the game, but I remember how I felt had Trion mismanaged Defiance and it turned me off to it.

Does anybody have an idea how I get a Speedlink SL-6535-SR to work (that's a Playstation based controller for PC).

Somebody suggested an emulator programm (which tells your PC that the used controller is an original xbox360-controller). Well, it didn't work... Actually I'm writing this post over my smartphone while I'm waiting for my notebook to finish the system recovery, lol

The game I want to use the controller with is GTA IV.
Of course I've downloaded the drivers for the controller from the website of the controller's manufacturer and installed them.
So, any suggestions how to get this gamepad to work?

P.S.: It´s a USB controller - although I think that won´t make a difference.

And with Win XP I never had these issues, just bought stuff, plugged it into my computer which detected it and it worked (almost Macintosh feeling, lol). But Win 8 or 8.1: AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think, I hate it....

So I would like to challenge the fleet to create and post up A Viable All Turret Build

Arc and Cutting Beams allowed as they are can be seen as turrets.

Weapon type, Consoles, Ship Gear, And what ship you think would be best able to utilize a pure 360 degree firing range. And please give reason why the ship, and build idea.

I think this would be a very good creative challenge for people and I do hope the idea takes off.

this is the true challenge isn't it, write a check, OR get ice water, not just do an ice water dump.

I think that it is far too uncommon to have gay characters in star trek, fiction or fan fiction, yeah there's slash spirk, but, actual gay characters are so rare it's nice to see when they are done well.

I do think just picking a Vulcan to have be interested in a romance of this sort though is a bit, awkward, unless the Vulcan has already been established as having that sort of preference, just dropping it in, will aggravate people, because they often think that "Vulcans don't have emotion" is accurate, not an exaggeration relating to their self restraint.
